- Go online and find a picture of a Cathedral that you think is interesting looking.
- Using an app of your choice, duplicate or modify the cathedral to make a new work of art.

Assignment #2: Visitor's Map! Aerial view. Pretend you are a drone and flying over your favorite imaginary city. Include: Houses, Apartments, Restaurants, Parks, Factories, Roads, Schools, etc. Label the features, icons, pictures, etc., so that we know what they are. Look up features and attractions of a city or two to get some ideas about things you would like to include in your city.

3. Choose .PNG pictures so that they don't have white squares behind them.
4. Remember that their are a lot of icon type shapes in Design App.
4. TOOLS - Clipping Magic - removes white background from images.
5. Begin to assemble infographic in Google Slides or Google Draw.
6. Include a Key - a key shows what different colors or shapes mean what.
7. Fill up the entire slide. Share and explain Infographic.

Assignment #11: Where's Waldo or I Spy Using Google Draw or whatever program you prefer, create a very busy picture with at least 6 hidden items. Don't tell us where they are. You might have to tell us what they are.

- Make sure that you choose an initial image that has a high enough resolution, so that when you stretch the image large enough to fill the page, it does not become pixelated.
- Use an image with a lot of different colors or with a color scheme that matches the items you are trying to hide. You must match the items you are trying to hide by color.
- Use .png images so that they do not have a square behind them.

You will make a MENU using GOOGLE Slides (Presentation).

- Make sure that you include at least: 20 items
- Entrees, sides, small plates, desserts, beverages, etc.
- Search for pictures/images of foods in the .png format; make sure your image search is "labeled for reuse". Using .png images will help them not have a background and will look better in your menu.
- Use text boxes to put in the descriptions of the foods.
- Choose a textured background, by Googling "textured backgrounds". If one picture covers things up, use the Arrange menu at the top. Select the picture and click on move to back.
- Save your menu as a .pdf before turning it in.
