Assignment #1: Introduction Challenge! Create one Google Slide that tells me and the class something (many things) about you! Tell us about the things that you like and are interested in using pictures! Show us things that you like. You can highlight your family, your hobbies, favorite music, movies, sports, video games, books, anything you would like to! You can pick and choose from any of these suggested topics.

Assignment #7: Copy a Cathedral
- Create a copy of a cathedral in Google Draw or App of Choice.
- Go online and find a picture of a Cathedral that you think is interesting looking.
- Using an app of your choice, duplicate and / or modify the cathedral to make a new work of art.
- You are recreating the cathedral by redrawing it and making an interesting work of art.
- Do not just simply apply a filter to the image.
- Download as a .jpeg before turning in.

You will make a MENU using GOOGLE Slides (Presentation).

- Make sure that you include at least: 20 items
- Entrees, sides, small plates, desserts, beverages, etc.
- Search for pictures/images of foods in the .png format; make sure your image search is "labeled for reuse". Using .png images will help them not have a background and will look better in your menu. You must have at least 5 images.

"So...cards anyone?" Hopefully, you and your family play cards. It's a fun pass time activity and rather inexpensive! Anyway, I would like you to design your own Deck of Cards. NO! You do not have to make 52! Let's design the back and make the Ace, King, Queen, Jack and a number card.

Assignment #14: Compound Characters
Pick five compound words and create 5 images that depict literal interpretations.What would a fly look like if it were on fire? Firefly. What would the moon look like if it were made of honey? Honeymoon.
Use Google Slides and .png images to combine. Search for "transparent" images to find .png images. Combine your characters on one slide per compound word. Don't tell us what the word is. We will guess as a class!

Assignment #16: Visitor's Map! Aerial view. Pretend you are a drone and flying over your favorite imaginary city. Include: Restaurants, Parks, Landmarks, Roads, Statues, Famous Buildings, Museums, etc. Label the features, icons, pictures, etc., so that we know what they are. Look up features and attractions of a city or two to get some ideas about things you would like to include in your city.
You need to have at least 8 attractions or objects on your map. Fill up the space on your map, think about the composition. It should be pleasing to the eye and interesting to look at. Make it a piece of art.

Baseball cards were very popular back in the day. They are one of the most influential collectibles of all time. They have a picture of the player and the statistics, team name, etc. For this assignment, you will create a trading card of any famous person you are interested in. It does not have to be a baseball player.

- Framed
- Colorized to be modern
- Name of Person in an interesting font
- Back (slide 2) will have information about your person

- Birth date
- Death date if no longer with us
- Thing they are famous for or have accomplished
- 2nd picture of your person inside a shape
- With picture selected, choose downarrow by crop icon and choose a shape to put around the image

Assignment #39: HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Create a Survey and Collect Some Data! What kinds of things would you like to know about your peers? What TV shows do they like? What games do they play? What foods do they enjoy? What's their favorite color?

- Click on the + sign at the right hand side of your tabs to Open a New Tab.
- On the right, Click on the Google Suite grid of 9 squares and scroll down to look for Forms.
- Click on Forms (purple).
- Click on Blank to start a new form.
- Name your Survey - something like "Joe's Survey" or more interesting…
- Think of at least 6 questions (10 max) you would like to ask and find out the answers to.
- You MUST HAVE 4 different types of questions, i.e; multiple choice, short answer, scale, checklist, etc.
- The Question Title is like a header. Example: Favorite Color
- The Help Text is where you can ask the question. Example: What is your favorite color. OR Enter your favorite color here.
- Set a Theme (painters pallet icon)
- Require PCS login (in Settings)
- To send out your survey, click on the Send button and click on the link icon. Copy the link to your survey. Reply All to the email Ms. Cutsinger sent to you. Greet your recipients and ask them to please fill out your survey. Paste the link into the body of the email. Sign and Send.
- Open your responses in a spreadsheet. Directions found here. Highlight a column of data. Alphabetize the email addresses. Highlight a row of data. Save as a .pdf. Turn in through Google Classroom.
